One of the things I want to keep up with more this year is creating collages for all the wonderful venues that I get to photograph. Here’s my first two for the totally cool Barnsley Gardens up in Adairsville, GA. I photographed the rehearsal dinner on Friday and the wedding on Saturday – both were gorgeous.
Allison and Chris got married at the absolutely amazing Opera in midtown Atlanta. It was so obvious that they had put a ton of thought and planning into their event and carefully considered every detail. From Allison’s dress, to the gorgeous lush red roses, to the cake … it all blended perfectly with the decor of this historic opera house. And the band that rocked the part after … wow!
What a great event and so much fun to photograph!
The wedding’s still being edited, but I had to post this series that I found as I was going through the reception images. If you’re a little girl at a wedding, there are few things more fun than having a dress to twirl in. And the big wrap around porch at Rhodes Hall is the perfect location for twirling!
Mara + Danny had one of the most amazing weddings I’ve ever photographed. Not because it was a huge wedding and not because it was super fancy or over the top, but because the amount of love and affection between Mara and Danny and among their friends and family was so incredibly apparent all day.
Their wedding and reception was held at the Vinings Club – a gorgeous location that did a fabulous job, as always.
Mara + Danny, congratulations and I wish for you both a long and happy life together!
Christina + Derek got married at the charming and oh-so-Southern Whitlock Inn, in Marietta, GA. It was a perfect day and the perfect time of year – all the flowers were in bloom and the grounds were full of the rich fragrance of the Confederate Honeysuckle and roses that blanketed the back gate of the garden. After the ceremony on the back steps of the Inn, Christina + Derek and their guests partied the night away with music specially provided by Derek’s cousin’s band!
Yakisha + Mathew celebrated their wedding with a simple and intimate ceremony at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Norcross, then followed it with a wonderful party at the Winder Community Center. Family came from as far away as Louisiana to enjoy the day, sing and dance, and eat some really darned good Southern food!

Kristine + Chris celebrated their wedding mass at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Cumming, followed by a great party at the Embassy Suites in Alpharetta, GA.
