It’s a new year and a brand new start here at Solais. 2010 was a significant year for me – not so much in doing things or photographing or business building, but in soul searching, thinking, reflecting. I took a big step back from photography and spent a lot more time exploring other options and figuring out what I truly wanted.

I love dragonflies. The stained glass version above is one that I bought this fall during a weekend spent in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Today I got to deliver Julie + David’s wedding album just in time for them to take it to Florida with them for Christmas.
They choose a simple leather cover in sage green, with blind embossing of their names and wedding date:
